Can dogs eat squash?

Yes. Fresh, plain squash of all varieties is dog-approved and a healthy human snack.

Rich in vitamins, potassium, and fiber, squash provides a variety of health benefits including keeping a dog's digestive system running well. Just be sure to remove the skin and seeds first.

Both raw and cooked squash are OK to feed your pup but steer clear of salt and other toxic herbs and spices. As is the case for other A-OK human food, talk to your veterinarian first to determine the optimal daily amount.
