Why do dogs howl?
Howling is a form of communication and can occur when they’re stressed, claiming their territory, or even listening to music and “singing along.”
Some dogs, like several hound breeds, howl more than others. Some of the biggest howlers include dachshunds, beagles, basset hounds, bloodhounds, huskies, Alaskan Malamute, and American Eskimo dogs and huskies.
